Head of Sales – CLOSED
We are recruiting for a new Head Of Sales for The Five Points Brewing Company.
The Head of Sales is the most senior sales role within the company. You will be responsible for the delivery of our sales and new business development targets, for ensuring customer account relationships are maintained to the highest standard, and you have management responsibility for the entire sales team.
This role is based in Hackney, East London.
Summary of key responsibilities:
- Drive sales through winning new accounts, and proactive management of existing customers
- Ensure that key account relationships are nurtured and maintained
- Responsibility for Multiple Pub Groups, wholesalers & distributors, national restaurant, online and grocery accounts, and export customers
- Deliver against monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets, ensuring we hit our volume and margin targets.
- Lead and motivate the sales team, helping ensure delivery of business and personal target
- Create personal targets for the Sales & Account Managers
- Identify and implement staff training needs within your team
- Conduct annual appraisals with your team
- Identify POS needs, commissioning design and production, in liaison with Marketing team
- Input into the New Product Development process
- Liaison with Marketing team to ensure support for both key accounts
- Oversight of Quality Control issues which arise in trade
- Manage Sales Team budget and approve expenditure
- Manage the cellar and dispense budget and new installations for key accounts
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience selling within on/off trade
- Experience of developing and implementing a sales growth strategy
- Experience leading a team preferred but not necessarily required
- Proven history of meeting and exceeding targets
- Passion for beer
- Entrepreneurial and driven, with a willingness to treat the business as your own
- Providing references that demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
